iTA Truck Sales & Service, L.L.C., is the largest International truck dealer in Louisiana, covering the New Orleans, Northshore, Slidell, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and Lake Charles markets. iTA sells International-branded new trucks, and all makes and models of pre-owned trucks and trailers, and provides outstanding service and parts to meet any fleet’s needs. iTA’s leasing and rental division, Idealease, provides a wide array of leasing and rental services for its customers throughout its markets. By working in tandem with iTA’s dealership locations and leveraging its group of highly skilled technicians, Idealease can offer full-service truck leases with an unsurpassed level of service.
iTA was formed in 2009 when it acquired Lingo International in Lafayette and the Idealease franchise for the Lafayette territory. In 2010, iTA purchased the International dealership and franchise rights for the New Orleans, Northshore, and Houma territories from Southland International. In 2014, iTA acquired the dealership and franchise rights for the Lake Charles market from Atterbery Truck Sales. In 2021, iTA acquired the Baton Rouge international dealership from the Timmons family, along with the Idealease franchise rights. This latest acquisition expanded iTA’s footprint to encompass all of South Louisiana, offering 5 locations with nearly 100 service bays, over $5 million in parts inventory, and a lease-and-rental fleet of over 600 units.
